In the Collinsville area, we did an incredible amount of work
to get rid of mice and snakes. This young and growing
community has erected hundreds of brick homes that are
single story and very attractive to squirrels,
raccoons, skunks, snakes and mice. Brick homes with
attached garages built in 1970 or newer were the number one
type of home we got animal control calls about. Clear cutting woods or
a field and building houses in that area inadvertently invites high populations
of rodents to move in and with them come the snakes who want the rodents.

brick home weep hole issues
and how weep holes help mice
and other critters get inside.
With many people moving to Collinsville to enjoy country living we tended
to receive a lot of calls like those typically received for larger cities.
Pest control issues in Collinsville are frequent concerns because
of so many homes built next to wide open acres of fields leading up to their door step.
