Feral cats, skunks, snakes and foxes were the most commonly complained about species of wildlife in Oologah. Oologah's beautiful downtown and other larger buildings have the benefit of having bats which provide natural pest control but are unfortunately occupying quite a few residential and commercial buildings causing concerns. Being close to a large body of water like Oologah Lake helps funnel wildlife into Oologah, creating a lot of animal control requests.
